Kinetic
Company Kinetic Company is the studio’s
performance/competition team. The
team consists of a select group of students who train several hours each
week in multiple styles of dance. The
dancers perform at numerous community events throughout the year.
In addition, they train for multiple regional competitions.
The group attends conventions with renowned guest teachers and
choreographers from around the country.
Kinetic Company is a great way to work in a “team”
environment in dance. Dancers
become well-rounded in their training, learn the art of performing, and
form lasting friendships. Requirements:
From September through May, Company members are required to take 4-5
hours of technique class per week in various styles, along with 1.5
hours of rehearsal.
The team participates in performances & competitions
throughout the school year.
Classes required for Junior and Senior Company for the 2008-2009
season are ballet, jazz, turns & leaps, and one elective class (tap,
hip hop, or lyrical) Camp:

To better prepare for the year ahead, all Kinetic Company members
for the 2008-2009 season will be required to attend a
technique/choreography camp during the week of August 4-8, 2008. Auditions:
Kinetic Arts Students ages 9 and up are invited to audition
for our Junior and Senior Companies.
It is recommended that students have at least 1-2 years
experience in jazz and/or ballet to audition. CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR NEW TEAM MEMBERS FOR 2008-2009!
