Join us for the 6th Dance-A-Thon for Mountain Backpacks, Friday, Feb. 9th from 6-8 pm at Kinetic Arts Dance Studio!

"Swifties" unite! This year's dance-a-thon will feature a medley of Taylor Swift hits for kids to dance and sing along to. Frienship bracelets and snazzy attire are welcome! Dance 'till you drop at our two-hour non-stop dance party! Entrance fee is a suggested donation of $15 per person to the GoFundMe. Please present your electronic receipt at the door. Participants are encouraged to collect donations from friends and families as well. Click on the link above to make a donation! What is the Mountain Backpacks Program?
​
Mountain Packpacks is a program of the Rotary Club of Evergreen and Evergreen Lutheran Church. Founded in 2013, the program provides food for over 60 children in the mountain community. One in seven families in Evergreen struggle with food insecurity. Children enrolled in the program receive breakfast, lunch and snacks on the weekends. They pick up their backpacks at school on Fridays and return them on Mondays to be refilled by a team of volunteers. Participating schools are Wilmot, Marshdale, RMAE, Bergen Meadow, Bergen Valley, Parmalee and Evergreen Middle School. Volunteers meet on Wednesdays from 4-6 pm to pack the backpacks.
